I hurried home, changed the baby and thought wow I will never run out of diapers again.
Here are some helpful tips that do not include paper towels and duct tape, on changing a baby’s diaper.
Diaper Changing Step One
Lay your baby on a clean changing table tummy side up.
Step Two
Place a clean diaper next to your baby.
Step Three
Loosen the diaper tabs on the used diaper.
Step Four
Remove the used diaper by gently raising your baby’s feet and removing the soiled diaper. You can fold the top and sides over the used diaper to make it easier to dispose of.
Step Five
Clean your baby’s bottom. Always wipe with a clean moist clothe such as a baby wipe from front to back.
Step Six
Slide the clean diaper under your baby’s bottom and fasten the diaper tabs. The front of the diaper should be just below your baby’s belly button.
Keeping diaper changing fun for you and baby will help make the inevitable task of diaper changing a pleasure. Just keep in mind to always have a supply of clean diapers and wipes and steer clear of paper towels and duct tape.
