What are the best baby bottles?
Any recommendations on a great baby bottle that Doesn't leak? I don't care about the price but I want a good, quality one that is good for the baby and doesn't leak. Are there any out there like that?

Re: What are the best baby bottles?
We used Playtex Vent Aire's They were great. They had 5 parts to make it together, but they were supposed to reduce the amount of air the baby takes in and hardly ever did our babies have gas or upset tummies. I have heard that some babies dont respond well to the Dr. Brown bottles and my PEDS Doc said that they caused colic and gas real bad in infants. Anyways, in the end the playtex were alot of work to clean, but they were all around good bottles and dish washer safe. I have also heard good things about the Munchkin Glass bottles, but I have never used one!
Good Luck!

Re: What are the best baby bottles?
As a foster parent, I have raised a lot of babies. Two years ago with the bisphenol A scare, I switched to glass bottles. All of the babies have done well with them. There are many brands and different nipples, but I am the queen of little to no plastic in our household. I use the regular old-fashioned evenflos with silicone nipples.

Re: What are the best baby bottles?
My new fave baby gift for my friends is the Klean Kanteen sippy cup. my son has the kid's size Kleen Kanteen with the 'sippy' style lid. It works great and he loves it. Not too big or heavy that a small person can handle. Its really good for kids.

Re: What are the best baby bottles?
My girlie had problems with gas in her tummy, so we tried all the bottles. The Advent and Dr. Browns bottles ended up to be the best. However, after what Chaos taught me about plastic, if I had another baby I would use glass.

Re: What are the best baby bottles?
I have the Avent right now, several actually, and they all seem to leak is there a trick to it? I've tried putting water around the top grooves before I screw on the lid and that seems to help sometimes. Hmm, I just research the bisphenol A and that is pretty scary. Thanks ladies.

Re: What are the best baby bottles?
If you find a brand that's leak proof let me know! I've given up and gone with the cheapo's at Target. My daughter likes them and for the most part they don't leak. I've tossed a few nipples because they did leak on me. And I now have an annoyingly uneven number of nipples and bottles. But I also know that everything in my cabinet is leak-proof!

Re: What are the best baby bottles?
Dr. Brown's are now free of Bisphenol-A (as are, I think most other brands, now). You can also get glass Dr. Browns bottles.

Re: What are the best baby bottles?
I'm a little scared of glass bottles but if they don't leak I may give them a try. Thanks ladies! Any other ideas are certainly welcome as well.

Re: What are the best baby bottles?
I've strayed away from glass bottles for the same reason. I'd bet they work great, but, especially with 3 older kids, I'm not jumping at the thought of broken glass at 2 am.
