Default Baby Care tip

The answer to this question is "yes". The answer is also "no"! The full answer is that, like all human beings, babies do need to take in water in order to survive.

But they don't actually need to drink water—in fact, pediatricians advise against giving your baby plain or distilled water until he or she is six months old. Babies get their water needs met by drinking breastmilk or formula, both of which are mostly water.

The reason your doctor will tell you not to feed your baby plain water is that it's easy to fill up an infant's stomach; a few little ounces will do the job. Babies should be filling up on nourishment—getting the nutrients they need from each feeding. Once your baby has been teething, he or she will need fluoride to support the
new teeth, so giving drinking water is a good way to meet that need. But until then, let your baby get water in his or her usual feedings of mother's milk or formula.

hi..!! i like your post. as per my knowledge i have heard and read that giving pure milk to babies is not good for their health...doctors advices that water should be added to the milk and then it should be given to babies.

A warm bath before sending them to sleep or lying together with your child will surely make them feel more comfortable. There are also lots of modern toys you can use to make your baby sleep, but the most important is giving your child a loving routine like cuddling and massaging their body, especially their limbs.

Dear Lord, please do not give your baby fluoridated water. Or any water not filtered for fluoride and chlorine. The pesticide-runoff fluoride they add to the municipal drinking water is considered hazerdous waste by the FDA, until it is dumped into the drinking water, and not a single study has ever linked fluoridated water with decreased tooth decay. Some studies indicate the contrary. Please please do the research on this and other issues like genetically modified foods before exposing your precious baby to them.
