Default Making the switch to cow's milk

I am formula feeding my eight month old but would like to switch from formula to cow milk as soon as possible. At what age is this safe to do and what is the best way to go about it? Should I replace a bottle at a time or mix milk and formula together?

Default Re:Making the switch to cow's milk

You shouldn’t switch to cow’s milk until the infant has reached a year of age. The best way to switch between the two is to mix cow’s milk with formula at half and half initially and eventually have the whole bottle be cow’s milk. Watch out for allergies to cow’s milk and speak to your pediatrician if you think your child has an allergy to cow’s milk.
