After I nurse my three-week old baby she spits up what looks like most of it. I have to change the bedding every couple of hours because it is soaked. Is this normal?

Your baby could be having a formula intolerance but, for the most part, what you need to be concerned about is whether or not your baby has reflux disease, which means that the valve that keeps liquids in the stomach fails and the baby spits up most of the food. There is also a condition called pyloric stenosis that can yield the same symptoms. If your baby is not gaining weight, see your doctor about the possibility of these two conditions and they will share with you the treatments of these conditions, if they are found.
