Default Spicy foods and breast feeding
I love to eat spicy food with lots of garlic. Now my mother says that the spices and garlic will taint the milk. Is this true? Do I have to stop eating spices and garlic? So far my four-week old daughter doesn’t seem to mind.

Garlic will come out in the breast milk and the infant may taste it. Depending on her tastes, she may not mind the taste of the garlic. Spicy foods have been known to cause the baby to be colicky or be intolerant to the breast milk but if your baby does not seem to notice, you can continue to safely eat spicy or garlicky foods without having to worry about what it is doing to the breast milk. Your baby will tolerate it just fine.

In my opinion you should avoid spicy foods till you finished the period of breast feeding to your baby.

i think you should avoid all types spicy food and garlic included things ... for few duration and after that you can use it in very slow process then i hope its healthy for your baby
