Default Drinking water and breastfeeding

I had a hard time drinking water as much as my doctor wanted me to during pregnancy. Now that the baby is finally here, can I go back to my pre-pregnancy habit?

If you are breastfeeding, you will have to keep up the same amount of water drinking that you did during pregnancy so that the breast milk will be of a good consistency and will continue to flow. You can get this fluid through drinking tea, juices and other beverages besides just water so there should be no excuse not to get enough fluid in. Even small amounts of decaffeinated soda will be acceptable to drink. If you are not breastfeeding, you can go back to drinking the amount of water you have become used to and comfortable with drinking.

Yes why not and in opinion you should drink maximum 8-10 glass of water daily. It will be good for your health and for your baby as well . God bless you
