Default Newborn Eating CONSTANTLY!

My three week old drinks only a very small amount of formula at a time. However, he will be hungry and crying for more in just about two hours. Can that be right? Do you think I need to switch formulas?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Or is it good news? Your baby is typical. (At least in her eating habits. I’m sure she’s exceptional in many other ways. ) Newborns eat every two to three hours. She has a very tiny stomach. And she’s going to need you to help her fill it 8 to 12 times a day for a while. As she grows, her stomach will grow too and the feedings will increase in volume and decrease in frequency.
