Many ten month olds are ready for some table food. If he is eating some table foods and snacks at home, there’s probably no real reason he can’t while you’re out. You will want to make sure that the items you give to him are not choking hazards and are free from the common food allergens that can affect babies (peanuts, citrus, honey, milk for some). Try to steer clear of fast food and find some healthier alternatives for your baby. And talk to your pediatrician about water or juice in the bottle. My thought is that a bottle of formula (which you can mix with water from the faucet) might be a better choice at ten months.
