Our baby hits 9 months old this Friday and we're still waiting for a legit "mama" or "dada" out of her. We say it all the time and she just stares blankly at us. I know this much, she has squealing and screeching down to an art form.
My little one (five months) babbles all the time and that is really cute. Still I can't wait for that first "Mama". How much longer do you think I will have to wait?
Usually by seven or eight months, that first “mama” and “dada” pop out! But don’t get too excited, it won’t be until at least 11 or 12 months that your baby will actually use those names correctly!
