Default upcomming surgery

just thought i'd add this post, and ask to be in your thoughts and prayers.

My son was born with VACTREL syndrom, including Scoliosis ( 2 vertebrae didnt' fuse properly, 2 semi-vertebrae --only half formed, and missing 2 ribs), minor cardiac issues, solo right kidney, left radial club arm, neither hand has opposable thumb.

This past July, he went in to have the club arm straightened. Dec 17th, he goes back in to have the pin removed, the floating thumb removed, and the index finger on that hand turned into a thumb.

I'm also a member of VACTREL NETWORK, a support group for families with VACTRELs syndrom, but you know what they say, can NEVER have enough prayer for such situations.

If anyone has questions about VACTRELs or the surgery for the club straighening, i'll be glad to try to help...
