I am wondering about some good toys for babies that are not too expensive. Are there also some toys that I could make myself?

Absolutely! Check around the internet for patterns to make stuffed toys, crocheted toys, wooden toys and other handmade fun stuff! We’ve got a few handmade fabric “books” that all of my babies have loved. A lot of wonderful crafters and artisans sell handmade toys on etsy.com – and they also sell patterns there too.

How about a baby basket, you basically get a basket or plastic container and fill it with everyday objects that a baby would be interested in, for example a wooden spoon, a muslin square, a rattle (can be homemade). You can then spend time with your baby exploring all the different objects.

A good rule to remember when making baby toys is that if it can fit into a toilet paper roll (the cardboard piece) then it's to small for baby!!

Yes,Good Thought... Try to make any Doll or You can make any other Colorful Toy for your baby..

Stuffed animals would be one of the easier toys that you can make by yourself, just have to make sure that you've sewn it well so that the baby can't get any of the stuffing out of it

You have a good thought, you can try it once. Now a days so many tips to make a toys. my suggestion is make a toys like cloth. its easy to handle.

Cheap and cheerful, pans and spoons - homemade drum kit! Also past or rice in tightly closed jars! they love it! xx
