Default No Separate Room for Nursery - How Can I Set it Apart?

We live in a fairly small apartment and there is no separate room for a nursery. Still I would like to set baby's area apart. Any ideas on how to do that would be appreciated.

There are some really cute folding screens on the market that can help divide an open space. Some are expensive but others are relatively cheap. Check places like Pier One Imports, World Market and IKEA.

You can also use a tall bookshelf as a room divider. If you find one that doesn’t have a “back” but is open shelving, it will look like a natural design element but still achieve the effect you’re looking for.

One last idea is to curtain the area off. You can either suspend a curtain rod, use a swinging-arm curtain rod or even use a ceiling-mounted track system like they use in the hospital rooms. The drape can be drawn when you want it to be closed off and opened back later so that the apartment doesn’t look too cluttered or cramped. Good Luck!
