Default Any Tips for Baby's First Flight?

Next week we are taking our twelve week old baby on his first flight. How can I make the trip as easy on him as possible?

I think the biggest concern for babies in flight is ear pain upon take-off and landing. This can be alleviated by feeding him during those times (either bottle or breast) or making sure that he’s got a pacifier if he uses one. With a baby so young, you may well get lucky and he will sleep for a good portion of the flight. Depending on his preference, you can either snuggle him with you or buy an additional seat and let him sleep in his car seat. A few toys to play with will probably be helpful too. You may end up walking up and down the aisle, bouncing and singing softly – which is totally fine and probably welcomed by the other passengers if the alternative is an upset baby! Good Luck!
