Re:Is it safe to take my baby to another country?
It is safe to take a baby to another country; however, you will need to pay attention to vaccinations that may be required to go to the different countries. Just like adults, babies may need to be vaccinated against things like typhus and other tropical diseases. It is also difficult to get all of the supplies you may need in another country.
The water may not be safe to make the formula and you may not have an opportunity to boil it. The baby food may not be available and you may need to pack all that you will need to feed your baby with. The same holds true for diapers and formula.
You may find yourself in a place where the buying of diapers is practically impossible and formula may not be the same as what your baby is used to. Your baby will need a passport that requires the signature of both parents on the birth certificate. You will need it to take the baby out of the country.
Healthcare may be sporadic in parts of the world and you may run into trouble if your baby gets sick. Healthcare is substandard in some countries and so you will need to weigh the risks versus the benefits of taking your baby to another country, especially if it is a developing country or one in which you do not speak the language.
