Default Best Kind of Stroller for Car and Plane?

We are looking to get a stroller that we can take on trips (both car and plane) with us. What should we be looking for?

Depending on the age of your baby, I think an umbrella stroller of some sort is the easiest to fly with. And also the easiest to throw in the back of your car. They are light and easy to fold. They are fairly convenient to carry while compacted. The drawback is that they’re not built for babies who can’t hold their heads up yet. Until then, you’ll be stuck with a more structured (and usually heavier) stroller option.
