Default Shopping the clearance sales

I went shopping at the local outlet a couple weeks ago because they were having their end of season clearance sales. I got some killer bargains. I spent $40 and got 9 pieces of clothing for my little baby boy due the first week of September. Since it was all winter clothes on sale I just tried to figure out approximately how big he would be in different seasons and bought accordingly. I got two jackets (one snow jacket and one denim), a pair of Christmas pajamas, some fleece pull overs, some onesies and other goodies. I highly recommend trying to approximate how big they will be and buying ahead. it will save you lots of money!

I do that for my kids all the time! My big ticket item I like to look for - winter coats for the next season.

I love to save money! I buy used clothes, clearance clothes out of season, and swap with friends. Saving money has always been a passion of mine and since this recession hit I started a blog to share my wealth of frugal "knowledge" with others. Check it out sometime. Beauty4Moms.blogspot.com
