My almost 3 yr old is so funny. We were driving home yesterday behind some car going slow and daddy says something about the person being slow. And she says... "Can't own it, don't drive it" lol. Daddy always says "If you can't drive it, don't own it" lol.

When my son was 5yo we were walking through a building with extremely high ceilings and echoed like crazy. We are walking out and coming towards us was a man that was very overweight. My son looks up at me and loudly ask 'Mommy why is that man so fat?'. Let's just say that if I could bury myself right then and there I would have. All I could do was keep walking and look forward and just keep on walking like I hadn't heard him. I tuned several shades of red that day.

Well, don't tell my son I am posting this but he was an early talker and you really had to watch. When he was three he walked up to a greeter in Walmart (who happened to be a little person) and asked "Why are you a midget"? I wanted to DIE!

Then a few weeks later (he was on a roll) we were at a Chinese buffet restaurant and he was watching a woman really intently. After a few minutes he turned around and said "Mom, she already had seconds. Her needs a diet". She was a rather large lady and heard him. Again, I wanted to crawl under the table.

Through the years he has thankfully learned to keep such thoughts to himself or at least wait till we are out of earshot

i think the most embrassing thing that I have had to go through with my children is when my oldest !
She was about 2 and half and and we went to the local corner store and there was a afircan american lady there and i think it was the first dark lady she had seen and she screamed " Mommy it is Oprah "
I just about died ! It was bad

This isn't about my child but I have a funny nephew story. My family had came to visit and we were all walking along in the mall when my nephew says, "Look Daddy, it's Obama." We were mortified. This little tike is a fun guy to be with. He loves hugs and often whenever we run into someone we know (that he doesn't) at the mall, zoo, etc he will run up and hug them. His head hits at just the right awkward height. You gotta love kids.

LOL...too funny. We were walking around San Antonio and must have taken a wrong turn because we came upon hobo row. Michael saw a chubby guy with a long white beard and asked why Santa was sleeping on the street. Cute words, sad situation.
