Food for thought first time Moms...

What do you like best about being a Mom?

At first, I just enjoyed having a baby around. Now, I think what I like best is the fact that I'm raising a pretty cool little person here (if I do say so myself.) LOL

I also love having someone--in addition to my husband -- who I love more than anything in the world and who I know loves me in return.

And that little someone is crying right now so I should get going.

Share, please ... What do YOU like best about being a mom? We should get some great stories!

Well I am now a mom of two, but when I first became a mom the thing I liked best was having this little person who was part of me. I was (and am) so excited to see what traits she has of mine and how her mind works. Watching her figure things out for the first time was amazing!

I love so many things about being a mom...especially to boys. I love love love the bond we have. I love their big brown eyes looking up at me and telling me they love me. I love making them paper airplanes because they get so excited when I launch them the first time. I love hearing them repeat the things I say when they dont know what it means! It cracks me up! I love that they think I am magic, and that I see through walls. Who else would believe that one? I love the excitement they show when they find a really cool bug. And, I really love when we cuddle up on the couch and read a good book. I love reading to them. They really get into the stories and ask questions and laugh. Oh..I LOVE their laughs.
It is so hard for me to believe that I created these little monsters (well, with a little help!). I think that is the most amazing thing in the world.

First of all....the "baby smell"! I love the newborn smell that only lasts for a few weeks. I have four kiddos and each time in the hospital I can remember holding them close and the wonderful new smell. I am sure that is strange but it is one of my favorite things.

Second...the "belly laughs" of babies. Who can resist the chuckling when they can't stop laughing so hard? My smile is just as big as theirs.

Third...the first heartfelt "I love you"! What a fun time when a toddler starts talking to where you can understand what they are saying. Every day is a joy to watch them grow and learn several new words each day.

Fourth...Snuggling on the couch watching a movie with microwave popcorn and sippy cups of juice.

Fifth...Watching my kiddos succeed in school on tests or a homework project they worked hard on or on the field playing sports. Moms are the best cheerleaders!

Sixth...Makes my heart smile when I get the camera out of my purse and they all say "cheezzzzeee" before I even turn it on! (I am an avid scrapbooker)

Seventh...Being pregnant and feeling them move in response to what I do.

Eighth...Having an excuse to buy happy meals, toys, bubbles and crayons.

Ninth...Knowing that they are learning about Jesus and the right way to live and teach others. It is our responsiblity to raise them right and to teach the word of the Lord.

Tenth...Knowing that my husband and I created this little person and he/she is a part of us and a symbol or our love and future.

I could go on and on!!!!!!!

No, they love all books. I think they just like watching me read because I am so animated.

i think mothers are the best gift for there child's .and a mother like save her childrens in every conditions.
