Default Skin Care while You Travel

Hello,
We all know that when your step onto a plane, your health is put somewhat at risk (think about it logically, you are in a sealed tube with dozens of other people - and whatever they have brought into that same tube with/on/in them). Your system becomes dehydrated from recycled air and non-water beverages (even carbonated water can lead to bloating and dehydration - and don't get me started about drinking alcohol on a plane....It....is....Bad). You run the risk of getting sick from others coughing and sneezing in your confined area. You are also sitting for a long period of time which can’t be good for your circulatory system. And you know you eat those unhealthy snacks out of sheer boredom. And if you think about it, everything unhealthy you do to yourself on a plane - you are probably also doing the same to your kids. Since now is the time for travel and spring break has begun, I have come up with a list of tips and tricks to stay healthy and hydrated inside and out while you’re flying the friendly skies.

• Before you step on your flight, take a healthy snack like fruit and nuts and a bottle of water (just buy the water and snacks AFTER you go through security and TSA seems to be letting formula through these days). These snacks will keep you occupied without the intake of high calorie foods and drinks. Bottled water is also a great choice because it will keep you well hydrated. Remember, stay away from sodas, alcohol and carbonated drinks - they all bloat and dehydrate and the negative effects are all increased the higher you fly.

• Apply a generous amount of face cream on board to avoid dehydration of the skin. I suggest you apply it every couple of hours on long flights. I also suggest that you bring some hand sanitizer and/or wipes. This will not only help you from catching any sort of sickness from your neighbors but it will make your fellow passengers much happier people (especially if you are traveling with tots and/or tweens).

• Try to do gentle stretches in your seat. You can shrug your shoulders, rotate your wrists and ankles, and twist your upper body from side to side. You should also take a couple walks up and down the aisle to keep your legs and back from becoming tight. Also take a few deep breaths every now and then to get full oxygenation. These exercises will get your blood flowing and the color to your face will stay a healthy hue.

• Before, during and after travel, always make sure that you eat and drink a healthy diet adequately. This can help your body and mind stay in tip top shape. Remember to stay away from the sodas.

• If you are traveling with others - especially little ones, everything that you do for yourself you should absolutely do for the kids with you (just like they say about the oxygen masks, make sure you put your mask on first and then put the mask on your children).

• Always remember to bring your essentials when you travel to a different destination. Just because you leave your home, doesn’t mean you have to forego your skincare routine. Also remember to take a (minimum) 15 SPF sunscreen with you because you will surely need it wherever you go.

A flight can take a lot out of you and your skin. If you follow these tips, your skin and health will not suffer. You will not only feel better but your skin and overall appearance will look better too. You will be more pleasant and your skin will glow if you just keep up with your diet and skincare regimen as usual when you travel.

Everything around you, what you put into your body, and what you put on your skin has the ability to affect your biggest organ in your body…your skin. So help prevent the environmental damage wherever you are and stay hydrated!

Totally agrees about the effects . But usually we don't notice these things and this is the point of diseases .
