Sounds like a blast! I'm stressing myself out just thinking of what to do when my boy turns a year old.

For my son's 1st bday, we kept it family ( w/ current significant others) but held it at a local park with picnic tables, grills, and playground. he had a blast running around with everyone, and eating til his little heart was content. He also loved the balloons my mom brought him, bopping them around till one broke loose and floated away.

Don't know about your kiddo's but mine's a little ham, and social butterfly =D
