Default Hi, Utterly Exhausted Mom Of 5, Here!

Hi there, just what the title says. I'm a mom of 5 kids, a WAHM at that. My youngest is 5 months [almost] and he kindof shoots down the Work part of WAHM.

My kids are- 15 years, 7 years, 4 years, 2 years, and the 5 mo old. My 7 year old is a high functioning autistic girl. The two youngest are boys and I'm finding out that boys really are easier!

Wow...no doubt you are an utterly exhausted mom of 5! I can't imagine as I know how chaotic things are with children of 14, 7, and 1. Major kudos to you and welcome!

Welcome! (I'm new here, too...)

Just wanted to say, as another WAHM with an infant (a 7 mos. old) I feel your pain. LOL I'm told it only gets worse/harder to get work done as they get mobile, too. Do you think that's true?

Being mobile is a problem but it's a welcomed one. I actually chimed in on the topic in my lil' blog.

Yep, tell me about it! The kids have been getting up about 2 hours earlier lately which adds to the 'tireds'. Thanks for the welcome!

Hi Catmuse, welcome to another newbie! Your little one is a bit older, when is his/her birthday? My baby boy was born the day after my wedding anniversary-Dec 15th.

I've found mobility is a little easier for my line of work. I won't have to hold him and try to type in my book and running after him will help the spread of Desk-Job Butt. :-)

I'm a freelance writer, but I recently stopped writing a lot of non-fiction to get back to my novels. Of course, web-surfing and hanging out in forums will slow down my word count! I'm a huge forum junkie, this one caught my attention when I saw good info and no one downing other moms for different parenting styles.
