Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Nicole. My husband and I have been married for almost 10 years. We have 2 children ages 8 and 4, and 2 children of the four-legged-variety. I am a Pediatric ER nurse, currently completing a second degree through online courses. My life is crazy and completely out of control most of the time, but I wouldn't have it any other way! I am excited about the opportunity to share parenting advice with others, as well as receive some much needed advice for myself. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Welcome Nicole and you are certainly a busy mom, lol! No doubt it would be out of control and crazy at times. You should meet our resident Queen of Chaos, Kadi. I'm quite sure she'll pop in soon as she's on her way back from vacation. She's incredible and it sounds like you'll be a lock to have things in common with her.

To iambarefoot: I have one of each. My daughter Kaylyn is 8 and my son Luke is 4. My four legged kids are dogs, a Golden Retriever named Crimson and a Cairn Terrior (Toto dog) named Maggie. In the past we've had a total of 3 parakeets, named Bama, Bear, and Bryant (can you tell I'm a HUGE Alabama football fan?!), a cat named Callie, and a rabbit named Cadbury. For various reasons the other pets are no longer with us and we are left with the 2 dogs. My second degree is actually the completion of my Bachelor's in Nursing. I started this degree while I was completing my Associate's in Nursing 10 years ago but LIFE happened and I put it on hold for a while. Went back to school last summer and I will graduate in December 09 (almost done!!). I will eventually go back for my Master's degree, but not now. The Master's will have to wait until my kids are older.

I have actually followed Kadi at Womb at the innsane for a while. She's awesome! I love her humor and honesty.
