Default Still in denial

A few days before my period was supposed to arrive, we decided to start TTC. My periods were all off before but June and July they seemed to be right on target. So I assumed they were normal. I tested and got a negative on the 13th. So I figured I was just going to start late. My cycles have been between 30 & 40 days. When I realized I was on day 44, I figured I better test again. So I tested and it was positive! Complete shock. It's been nearly a week since finding out and I'm still in denial. I have taken another test and it was positive. I "feel" pregnant between the cravings, aversions, morning sickness and exhaustion. But I'm still in shock. Now I am curious. When did it become real for you?

awwww....it is still kinda weird for me and I am 3 months along already! LOL

I think once the baby is moving in my belly I will feel it more...one of my friends was trying for a few years and she is pregnant now and she is still in shock too...

I think it will become more real when the baby starts moving too. It seems like it should feel real though because I am so sick and bloated. LOL I can't wear my regular pants right now.

First off, congratulations!!!! I think it becomes "real" for most moms when they see an ultra sound!

Thanks Ashley. My dr likes to schedule an ultrasound right around 10 weeks. Since I can't make it in until I am 11 weeks, I should get one then. I think a part of it is that I'm nervous about miscarrying too.

Don't be nervous! Just eat healthy, pray about it, and enjoy this time. : )

Thanks! I am really trying. It seems to be going along smoothly other than the morning sickness!

First, Congratulations! And welcome to the wonderful magical world that lies somewhere between no sleep, vomit, poop, food, messes and a whole lot of nudity. HA HA! Im just kidding, that wont come until later!

For me... It was when I saw the very first ultrasound and heard the heart beat at the same time. This made everything very real to me!

Best wishes and Happy pregnancy!
