Default Craving CRUNCHY stuff...

this weekend and week I have craved crunchy stuff! I ate nearly an entire jar of crunchy peanut butter on.the.spoon! then ice chips and chips and apples and toast but nearly burnt toast and thin crust pizza....isn't that strange? LOL

Well, tonight I ended up chiping a tooth filling after eating chips! OUCH!

OH MY GAWD GIRL
I know what you mean.
I am anemic, I crave ice 100% of the time, and if you see me walking around I an normally in long sleeved shirts and jeans with my cup of ice from SONIC. GOSH
Turns out.
When I was with child my first go around, I kept craving burnt pizza.
There is a mineral in the chemical reaction that women need while pregnant, if anemic during pregnancy the need for the mineral makes women do crazy things. My last thing before I went into labor was I wanted to go to Home Depot to smell the store. Its crazy, bazaar, and weird... I KNOW. But OMG, I had to do it!
So be on the look out for anemia, it might be just around the corner.
But im kinda glad to know im not the only weird pregnant woman out there!

Make sure you are taking your prenatals Some women do develop odd cravings due to low mineral and vitamin deficiency. The great thing about wanting crunchy things are all the options! Celery, granola in yogurt, popcorn trail mix....... mmm you are making me hungry!

Careful with the craving ice, it's supposed to be one of the signs of iron deficency....

Durring my pregnancy, i didnt' crave things unusual for us... but i wanted a LOT of bean burritos.. home made ones, not taco bell... didn't want the grease!! Also wanted chinese food... and although i'm typically NOT a sea food lover... i found myself devouring crab legs by the plateful!!
