Default embarrasing situation

The history:
During birth i tore pretty extensively and had to have a LOT of stitches. My son was kept in the NICU for 5 days and i went to stay at the Ronald Mcdonald house not too far away. Only problem was.... the only room they had that first night ( 2days after stitches) was upstairs, and no elevator. I pulled my stitches pretty badly climbing up and down. They moved me to a downstairs room soon as they could, bless them, but the damage was done. Not to mention all the walking associated with going back to the NICU to see my baby daily. I used the icepack pads and sprays the hospital gave me, and they seemed to help. But now.. the dr at my 6wk postpartem said i looked to be healing well, even though i commented about the pull, and the pain. They said it didn't look like anything had happened....

Well, i lost medicaid after the postpartem period, and have no insurance, nor could i afford to go to a reg gyn.... my son is now 16months old, and i STILL hurt with sex.. and the pain lasts sometimes for a several days after.

I found this forums when i was trying to look up about the tearing and what can be done, since it seems something --maybe its scar tissue-- went wrong.

Any advice? please help.
