I was wondering what we should take to the hospital for bringing the baby home? I know we will need a car seat and of course some clothes for the baby. But is there anything else we need?

Newborns don’t really need much – although the list of items probably depends on what time of year you deliver. Carseat and clothes are the big items. Make sure you’ve got some layers if it’s cold outside. A onesie, some socks and a warm outfit. Throw in a hat and some blankets. If it’s really cold, think about a fleece carseat cover as well. But really? You’ll be carrying him about six feet from the door of the hospital to your warm, waiting car – so no need to go overboard.

It depends upon the season if it is cold then you should take some warm clothes or a little blanket for your baby but i its summer then you do not need to worry much !
