Default Preventing and Fixing Varicose Veins

Help! I am 18 weeks pregnant and yesterday I noticed some itchy, blue bulges on my legs that I assume are VARICOSE VEINS. At 24 I am much too young for something like that. How can I make sure I won't be getting any more? And how can I get rid of the ones that have already appeared?

Those do sound like varicose veins. The good news is that they should get better after you give birth. In the meantime, exercise regularly. It helps. As does keeping your weight gain within the recommended range. Also try to keep your feet up as much as possible and sleep on your left side with a pillow between your knees. These things will relieve some of the pressure on those veins. If the veins get really bad, talk to your doctor about support hose.
