How Can My Husband Possibly Love Me when I'm a WHALE?
Our baby is due in six weeks. My husband is wonderful and keeps telling me how happy he is to become a Daddy and how much he loves me. But how can he honestly say that when I eat like a horse, look like a beached whale and my moods are completely unpredictable?

Re:How Can My Husband Possibly Love Me when I'm a WHALE?
Because he actually does love you is my guess. Or he’s terrified of you. Oh, settle down – I’m kidding.
Your hormones and your exhaustion and your frustration with still being pregnant are causing you to have insecurities. I was terrible about this when I was pregnant. Some nights, if my husband didn’t want to watch Project Runway with me, I was sure that he was one foot out the door, leaving me. Hello? He didn’t want to watch a fashion show. Get a grip.
Anyway, my point is that your husband doesn’t have those hormones and fears racing through him. What he knows is that the woman he loves is growing his child inside of her. She is doing something that is mystifying and amazing to him. Your excitement and efforts at getting ready for baby make him excited and proud. He understands the mood swings on some level – or at least he deals with them.
This is what he’s been waiting for – for the two of you to become a family. He gets to see you become a mother so naturally that it’s shocking and a little romantic to him. Gallons of ice cream aside, he’s had a front row seat for an unbelievable journey with you for the last nine months.
Cut the guy some slack. And yourself. Let him love you. You are lucky. And try to remember how sweet he is now when, in a few months, he snores right through three middle-of-the-night feedings. You might need to let him bank some of this goodwill…

Well, one...You are a beautiful spirit having a creative experience. Two, if he loves you he will see that is true, and see you for the amazing goddess you are! The truth is sexy does not mean skinny, it means glowing with inner beauty, and I can tell you that pregnant women are far lovelier than they generally think.

That is absolutely the truth, there is something special with good men who beam over the woman that is carrying their child.

Sounds like a good man! He's a keeper...make sure he knows how much his love means to you even when you feel like a whale.

Pregnancy is a beautiful thing. You are carrying a gift from God and he recognizes that! Pamper yourself a little to make yourself feel a little more comfortable during these last fews weeks. Go get a pedicure...that makes anyone feel better...especially when you can't reach your toes!

He loves you because pregnancy is beautiful! Your beautiful! The simple fact that you are carrying his baby...he does not care or see the extra weight! Enjoy it!

Because he loves you. Pregnancy is such a natural experience. Its also natural for him to be attached to your child already. You are carrying his child so he admires you for that.

I'm sure you're beautiful mama. You likely feel like a whale and are as beautiful as ever in his eyes.
