I am so excited to finally be expecting. I have passed the first trimester and tonight my husband and I plan on telling our extended family the news. Any cute ideas on how to do this?

How about cute new picture frames for them with a note where the picture will go reading “Save this Spot for Baby K! Due to Arrive in January!” Or, set the table for dinner with placecards reading “Grandma” and “Grandpa” and “Aunt Jane” and “Uncle Bob”, etc. See how long it takes them to “get” it! A former co-worker of mine announced her news at work in a fun way: she sent an appointment scheduling request to everyone via Outlook. It asked us all if we were available for her due date of June 6.

I’m sure that lots of people have waaaaay better ideas than these – feel free to chime in!!
