I can't wait to find out whether I am having a boy or a girl. I am only at eight weeks so it is much too early to tell in an ultrasound. Is there a way to tell what I am having by my pregnancy symptoms?

There are plenty of old wives tales relating to symptoms and sex. I don’t think any of them are particularly accurate. (I will tell you that my feet only swelled when I was pregnant with boys – but that was not until the third trimester when I already knew what I was having anyway…)

You’ll just have to wait until 18 to 20 weeks for that ultrasound!

I have heard lots of old wives tales as well and funniest thing is that the ones that said I was having a girl--were wrong--I had a boy and vice versa for my pregnancy with my daughter--all of the things pl said were the exact oppostire lol

It is hard to be patient but its kinda of fun to read the things ppl say tell like if your hair grows faster you are having a boy and if you look bad when you are pregnant you are having a girl

I have heard them all as well. There is something called the Chinese Gender Chart that uses the age of the mother and month you concieved to tell you boy or girl. It was right for my first 2 boys. So when we tried for baby number 3 we planned it when the Chinese gender chart had my age and 4 months in a row that were girls. Did it work? Nope! I have three sons whom I love and adore. Good luck!!! :-)

Sorry but I've had seven fetuses and I tried every trick in the book to try and decipher the sex. None of them were ever reliable. Have patience, sweetpea! The time will come soon enough to find out what you are having. All that really matters is that the baby is healthy and you are too!

no i dont think so, all my pregnancies have been diferent from day 1 but i have still had 4 boys and expecting another boy this time lol, I think its just one of those wait and see things isnt it?! xx

i think you just wait to 18 weeks
then you can go for ultrasounds

Well, they said if your face change and doesnt look blooming means your baby is boy, but if your blooming and wants to be sexy and looks pretty always, it means your baby is a girl. That's what old people said here.. Hope that can help.

Basing on my experience I don't like to have and ultrasound on what's the gender of my baby. One of the nicest thing when the baby is out is the feeling of excitement that you don't know if it's a boy or a girl. One way I can't tell you how to determine when youre PG symptoms, it really vary.
