Default Small eater, how can I gain enough weight?

Generally, I am not a big eater. Even being 14 weeks pregnant hasn’t changed that. There is no way I can eat all those servings recommended for pregnant women. Can I still get everything my body needs?

If you are worried you’re not getting enough calories in, follow your weight as a guide. You should gain around a half a pound per week during the first trimester and then gain about one pound per week during the second and third trimester. If you are gaining at least that, then you are getting enough for the pregnancy to be healthy. If you are not gaining much weight, speak to a nutritionist about what kinds of foods and in what quantity you should eat. Eating too little can cause a low birth weight baby so you want to try to eat the recommended amount of food.
