Default Things to Take to Hospital?

At 36 weeks of pregnancy I am now in the homestretch. I was wondering what some essentials things are that I should take to the hospital to help me get through labor and delivery.

Robe and socks and elastic for your hair. Those are the three things I needed for labor. The robe and socks allowed me to walk around during the early stages. The hair elastic is pretty self-explanatory. My husband needed all of his A/V equipment and cell phone and chargers for same. Other than that, I didn’t take much. Oh, I took my pillow from home. More comfy, better linens than what was available at the hospital. For after delivery, I was glad to have my nursing pillow. As A doula I tell my parents to take their own pillows, Chapstick your lips get very dried,a small fan most moms get very warm durring labor, some moms like to take a small roll of their own tiolet paper it feel much better than the scratchy stuff they provide for you. you may want some music to help you relax, snacks for dad, lotion if you get an epidural sometimes it will make you itch the lotion feels nice when itchy, LET DAD PACK THE BAG! it helps to let dad or your partner pack the bag you will be asking for things they don't know where they are in the bag unless they put them there. just get everything you want in there laid out on a bed or table and let them put it in.
