My husband is taking me for a last vacation to Hawaii before we become first-time parents. Living in not-so-sunny Washington, I was really looking forward to soaking up the rays. But now someone told me that pregnant women should avoid the sun. Is that true? How much sun would be okay?
It depends on where your concern lies. Your baby will be fine if you sunbathe while in Hawaii as long as you keep yourself hydrated. Your skin may not be so fine. Many pregnant women have more sensitive skin due to hormones. You’ll probably need extra sunscreen to protect against sunburn. And don’t stay out too long if you want to avoid sunburn and overheating.
Soak up the rays in moderation. Drink lots of water. And make sure you’ve got gallons of SPF 30!
I am agree with you!
Sun rays are not so much effective but it depends how long you stay under the sun. So enjoy as much as you can and try to avoid the long term stay in sun.. Anyhow Good Luck,Enjoy your trip to Hawaii and Have FUN!
