Default Best Way to Handle Hot & Humid While Pregnant

So far my pregnancy has been thankfully uneventful. Now I am 14 weeks and we are taking a short trip to Louisiana to visit some friends. As it is the middle of the summer I expect it to be very hot and humid. How can I deal best with that?

Water, water, water. It is very important to keep yourself hydrated and rested. Dehydration can lead to contractions. And that’s not good at all at 14 weeks. If you do feel thirsty and crampy, drink some water and lie down for a while.

It is always hot here where I live so I just drink lots of water, try to relax whenever I start to feel tired, have a fan or air conditioning around and not focus on the heat (when possible).
