I am entering my third trimester of pregnancy. My husband and I would like to go away for a short vacation now, before the baby is born. I am a bit unsure though whether traveling so late in pregnancy is a good idea. What would be a good vacation for us?

A relaxing one. Now is not the time for mountain trail hiking or exploring Manhattan on foot.

One that’s a short car ride or short plane ride away – you’ll be pretty uncomfortable if you have to go far.

One that’s in or near a city (and appropriate medical facilities) – now is not the time to “rough it.”

And nothing unless your doctor okays it first!
