Default Exercising while pregnant with twins

I am considered high risk and carrying twins. I want to stay as active as possible for my own health and sanity. Are there any exercises I can do so that I’m not completely out of shape or overly flabby?

Default Re:Exercising while pregnant with twins

The exercises you do depend on where you are in the pregnancy. Early in pregnancy, you can do just about any non-contact exercise and it will help you feel toned and healthy. Later in pregnancy, there is a risk of preterm labor so your doctor may recommend only walking as an exercise. Very late in the pregnancy, you may be on bedrest or modified bedrest and will not be able to exercise at all. It depends on how much preterm labor you are having and what your cervix is doing. Talk to you gynecologist/obstetrician to see whether or not it is safe for you to engage in any physical activity.
