Default Can I Carry Twins to Term?

The doctor just told me that I am not only pregnant, but that I am expecting twins. Does that mean that I will have premature babies or is there a good chance that I will carry them to term?

Default Re:Can I Carry Twins to Term?

Lots of women carry twins to term – you just rarely hear about it. I did. My twin boys were 8 lbs and 6 lbs when they were born via c-section at 38 ½ weeks (my doctor considered 38 weeks to be full term for twins).

It all depends on your body and the growth and behavior of those babies! Take special care of yourself, follow your doctor’s directions and you’ll have a better chance of delivering two chubby, full term babies.

Anyone else out there carry their twins to term? How many weeks did you go and how big were your babies?
