Default Intrauterine insemination and working out or exercising

I'll be undergoing intrauterine insemination this month. Is there any reason to discontinue my workouts until I know whether I'm pregnant or not?

Default Re:Intrauterine insemination and working out or exercising

During intrauterine insemination, your doctor will ask you to lie still for several minutes after the insemination process. You should probably take it easy on the day of the insemination. After that, however, you can work out or exercise to a moderate degree until you know you are pregnant. The pregnancy at that stage is highly protected by the pelvic structures and you cannot shake loose a pregnancy at this stage; exercise is perfectly safe, even if it is working out.
