Any exercise that you are already used to doing and those that are relatively injury-free can be exercises you continue during pregnancy for as long as the pregnancy is healthy and you feel like you can do it. This can include walking, treadmill, running, stair-stepping, elliptical training weight lifting and swimming. Bicycling is safe if you are not doing it in traffic or are mountain biking; games like football and softball are probably not safe to do in pregnancy as they carry a risk of injuring your stomach. Any exercise where you could easily make contact with another person or the ground is probably something you don’t want to do after the first trimester.

This might be a time to take up a walking or running program. As long as the uterus doesn’t get so big, these are safe exercises to entertain throughout the pregnancy. Exercise isn’t a requirement during pregnancy but some exercise keeps your body healthy enough for delivery and keeps your core and your extremities strong.

Other exercises that are good in pregnancy are Tai Chi, yoga and non-contact martial arts. They help your stress level and your balance, keeping you fit and ready to handle the extra bodily stresses of pregnancy.

You can do exercise which is easy like Walking running but you cannot lift weight during pregnancy It would be injurious and dangerous for you and for your baby as well.

No.. You cannot lift weight during pregnancy!
However you can walk and do some easy exercises which would not hurt you or your baby!
