Exercising after already having experienced a pre-term birth
All my life, I have been very physically active. I continued my usual fitness regimen when I was pregnant with my first child. Unfortunately, my little girl was born six weeks too early. She is fine now, but it was a very worrisome time. I am expecting number two and the doctor told me to be careful and keep physical exertion down. What does that mean? Do I have to lie on the couch all day or is there some exercise I can do? I do not want to risk another premature baby, but neither can I stand the idea of not exercising at all.
