Default Morning sickness and exercise

I am 9 weeks pregnant and feel miserable all day. Unfortunately, in my case morning sickness lasts all day. Even the thought of food makes me feel nauseated. When I feel like this, exercise is the last thing on my mind. What can I do?

It is unfortunate that some women feel terrible all day long and suffer from “morning sickness” for longer than just the morning. You still need to try and get liquids and solids into your system for your health and for the health of the pregnancy.

Try drinking plenty of water or other beverage you can keep down and work on eating small amounts of food, like dry crackers, several times a day so that your stomach is never completely empty. Keeping your stomach with some food in it all day long will lower the effects of acid in your stomach and will actually allow you to feel better during the day.

Until you feel better, you really don't need to worry about exercise but we highly recommend that you maintain some of the stretches or yoga poses we describe in the Fit Mom, Fit Baby eBook.
