I am in the middle of the second trimester and desperately looking for a way to keep my abs in shape. What are the best exercises I could do now and towards the end of my pregnancy?
Re:How can I work my abs if I can't be on my back?
Sit ups are out at this stage of the pregnancy because you would be lying on your back which can impair the circulation to the uterus and fetus. There are abdominal machines that you can do at a health club that do not involve lying on your back. If you belong to a health club, try out the abdominal machines that do not involve lying on your back. They should be completely safe to use.
