While it is not dangerous to the pregnancy to swim during the latter parts of pregnancy, even if you are partially dilated, you may not know if you have ruptured your membranes while swimming. Now this would be an uncommon event, it still could happen and could confuse the picture. If you went swimming but still leaked from the vagina after you dried off, this could mean that you have ruptured the membranes while swimming and you should call your doctor. On the other hand, swimming is a good exercise to engage in after you get pregnant and there is no reason to miss out on that exercise well into your third trimester and even when partially dilated. The only issue is that I’ve listed above and this would be a rare occurrence.

As long as your water isn't broke, sure thing. The chlorine will also help if you are GBS+ (which is a test that should have been done around 36 weeks).

Swim, swim, swim! Unless your bag of waters has broken, your baby is quite safe.

I agree with all the previous posters, swim away as long as your membranes are intact!
I have found swimming to be a great relief, and great exercise too. It's nice feeling weightless for a little while
