Overhead presses in the third trimester can pull on the uterine ligament and stretch out the ligaments supporting the uterus. While this is not dangerous to the baby, it can make the uterus sore and be uncomfortable. If you feel comfortable doing overhead presses and it does not affect your abdomen, go ahead and do them, knowing that you run the risk of straining the uterine ligaments if you overdo it.
