Default Protein shakes and pregnancy

I don't eat a lot of meats and I want to continue my workouts or at least exercise while pregnant. Can I have a protein shake during pregnancy to try and maintain my fitness?

Protein shakes are commonly used in weight lifting and other athletic pursuits but will give you an extra boost of protein if you think you’re not getting it in your diet. I wouldn’t drink more than one protein shake per day unless you are really not getting any protein in your diet. Do not add raw eggs to the protein shake as they contain Salmonella but use only the powder and milk to make the protein shake. You can add a banana if you like.

Yeah, I agreed with WombToBloom Advice.... and for more clarification you need to consult the Medical Doctor.
