My fiancé and I have decided to get married before our baby is born. At the wedding I will be 29 weeks pregnant. I am completely lost as far as choosing the right dress for my wedding is concerned. I want it to be a special day and look good in spite of the pregnancy. I would very much appreciate any tips on choosing the perfect outfit.

In my opinion, pregnant brides need to dress as simply as possible to avoid looking silly. Many bridal gowns these days have a kinda sexy vibe. Pregnant ladies shouldn’t wear sexy dresses to their weddings. Not very attractive. Or classy.

You’ve got a lot going on there in front – your dress doesn’t need anything extra. Too much embellishment is easy when you’ve got a belly front and center. You don’t want anything too unwieldy or heavy – so I’d skip the cathedral length train and veil. Find something comfortable. An empire waist dress will probably be the easiest to alter to fit your growing figure.

And find shoes that are comfortable! Flip-flops and sneakers are perfectly fine for pregnant brides.
