I had midwives for both my sons births. one at a birth center and one at home. they were both amazing births! I really can not think of any disadvantages of having a midwife in a normal low risk pregnancy. my midwife has been amazing to throughout my birthing years so far. I can not think of another person I would want taking care of me during my pregnancies. my home birth was easier than my birth center birth because, I was in my comfort zone. I was able to be where I wanted to be. I knew where everything was. it was just amazing. all our future children will be born at home.
