Default Anyone else experiencing an achey 3rd trimester?

As soon as the 3rd trimester hit it's like the tables turned! I felt great for all of 2nd trimester and now I am suddenly sore all the time. My lower abdomen and back, and my legs! Sometimes it's hard to get up and walk. Please tell me this doesn't last forever

i think the title would be anyone NOT feeling achy in the third trimester? The baby is getting bigger- your body is carrying extra weight- your muscles are being fatigued- your tendons are being stretched... if you are not feeling achy in the last months of your pregnancy then it is abnormal! take long baths-- go for swims--get massages--go to a chiro for adjustments-- and rest when you can-- stretch--take a prenatal yoga class -- and relax- feeling achy is normal!

Totally agree! And we are in the process of inviting Prenatal Yoga professionals to join our recently added Prenatal Yoga category in the directory. If anyone knows of anyone, pass the word!

Thanks for the tips! I have a prenatal yoga DVD that I have been doing sporadically since I got pregnant. I made my husband go with me to a pool last weekend and it was great! I was able to swim and walk around in the water for a few hours and it helped a lot (until the next day anyway ).
