I am looking for women who have had acupuncture during pregnancy for various reasons! I would like to know what you had it done for and if it really helped. I was thinking of trying it out for back and pubic pain, but also to maybe help get labor going when it gets closer.

I used it because I had a problem holding my last pregnancy. I had three miscarriages before success. The accupuncture helped a lot. I was on herbs the entire pregnancy. Massage helped more for my pubic pain. I was able to walk better too.

I started acupuncture when I was pregnant with my last baby for poor circulation and high blood pressure. I only have those things when I am pregnant and they made me miserable. I also had varicose veins. UGH. It helped a great deal and I then continued to use it for other reasons after the baby was born. It's a very relaxing experience.
